The Flavors of Fall

November 6, 2010

The Irvine farmers market is by far the biggest and most diverse farmers market I visited in Orange County. From fresh fruits and vegetables to, baked goods, raw honey, nuts and cheeses this market has it all. After an hour of wandering the stands we left with handmade pita, delicious avocado cilantro hummus, gourmet tamales and a bunch of fresh chiles. This was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Oh what to eat first!

Location: Irvine Center on the corner of Bridge and Campus (across from UCI)
8 a.m. – Noon (rain or shine)
